Film Store Operative

Job description:

As a Film Store Operative, your general daily duties will be the booking in and out of pass sheets and packing proofs, organising folders and the rotation of old files. You will work closely with the Colour Department to ensure all materials are accurately handled and kept up to date. This role involves working to tight deadlines and maintaining high standards of organisation and safety.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Locate, book in, and book out pass sheets for jobs requiring colour matching.
  • Create trays for pass sheets and allocate tray numbers to the job works instruction.
  • Collect customer/digital proofs from the Account Controllers and add them to the relevant tray.
  • Create, organise, rotate and destroy folders and old files as required.
  • Ensure booking details are kept up to date on Accuterm.
  • Visit printing machines during the day to collect new pass sheets and take to the store for booking in.
  • Visit finishing machines during the day to collect any Foiled and emboss Pass Sheets and take them to the store for booking in.
  • To be responsible for the good housekeeping of your work area.
  • Wear correct PPE at all times and follow all Health and Safety regulations.
  • Observe and comply with all Health & Safety regulations in line with company policies and procedures.
  • To act on any reasonable requests instructed by your manager.
  • Flexible shifts may be required depending on contract.

About you:

  • Safety conscious and able to follow Health and Safety procedures.
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and focus on quality.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • No formal qualifications required – full training required.

  • Working Hours: Basic 36 hours per week with the opportunity of overtime.
  • Day shift: 06:00 – 18:00 Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Thursday/Friday/Saturday.
