IT Apprentice

We are looking to give an IT Apprentice the opportunity to develop and train within our IT Department. The IT Apprentice will be supported to complete an IT Apprenticeship Level 3 qualification whilst training and learning on the job.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To act as first point of contact for calls to the service desk.
  • Fault finding on a wide range of hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, and laser scanners throughout the factory.
  • Administration of the specialist factory server system.
  • Participate in departmental rota to enable the team to provide round-the-clock support, to include early shift and on-call responsibilities periodically.

  • Be self-motivated, with a learning mind-set.
  • Be happy to learn new tools, techniques, and platforms towards creating innovative solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work at all levels within the organisation.
  • Be passionate about IT.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • The ability to listen and follow instructions.
  • A solution focussed individual with a natural problem-solving aptitude.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English.

Future Prospects:

The apprenticeship will be on a fixed term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship and will have the opportunity to progress onto full-time employment after they have finished the qualification.
