We are looking to hire an experienced Administrator to work in the Distribution Department of our Bungay factory.
This role is integral to the smooth running of the department, supporting the team with all aspects of administration to ensure they can meet the operational needs of the business.
Role and Responsibilities:
Processing customers’ delivery instructions onto Clays’ main infrastructure system.
Completing bookings for deliveries with various distribution centres.
Processing orders and making bookings with Amazon.
Supporting management by conducting departmental administrative tasks.
Being the point of contact for customer issues relating to distribution.
Using the warehouse management system to organise lorries ready for outbound goods.
Taking bookings for inbound deliveries to Clays from other printers and material suppliers.
Dealing with the company’s hauliers regarding scheduling of book deliveries and other queries.
Processing orders for outbound deliveries via carriers within the UK and to Ireland.
The ideal Candidate will:
Have great organisational skills, with the ability to meet scheduled deadlines.
Have strong problem-solving ability and excellent attention-to-detail.
Be reliable with a strong work ethic with a positive “can do” attitude.
Be able to work effectively on their own and as part of a team.
Previous experience in manufacturing, production or a distribution department is preferable but not essential.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position, starting in February 2022.
Hours of work will be 37.5 hour per week. Monday to Friday: 8.30 am to 5.00 pm with one hour for lunch.
