St Ives... there's more to us than meets the eye.....

St Ives provides marketing services, printed products and display solutions to publishing, retail and commercial markets throughout the UK. Our focus is on delivering high quality products to customers who have a need for service, complex solutions and added value services.

who we are.....

St Ives is a unique group of market-leading companies that combine to provide the UK’s most diverse range of marketing, print and display services.

Our products touch many aspects of everyday life in more ways than might be imagined. You may be driving and spot a giant advertising hoarding; or buying a magazine at your local newsagent; or browsing the window displays in the high street; or noticing some pitch-side branding at a football match; or maybe you’ll be on holiday reading the latest best-seller. Perhaps you’re picking up a brochure in a car showroom or have visited an exhibition or event and seen a display or stand produced by one of our divisions.

Every day you may well see or touch a product produced by St Ives: in our case, there is definitely more to us than meets the eye.

take a wider view with the uk's market leader.....

You may already know us through one of our business units or for a particular field of print - but did you know St Ives is now the UK's leading independent print & display group?

Although our business units trade under a variety of names, we operate as a single business with a portfolio of products that make us much more than just a printer. We don’t rely on price driven commercial work, nor do we sell on price or ‘cheap print’. On the contrary, our value added services make us not so much a print company, more a total marketing services provider.

At St Ives, we recognise that historically printers have a poor reputation for customer service and value engineering. That’s why we’ve brought all of our business units together to give each of them access to the ‘best in class’ from our Group – all through one point of contact. It means today we have the most diverse offering of any print group in the UK.

With 19 operating sites nationwide, the collective strength of our seven highly successful business units makes St Ives plc the UK market leader. Through continuous investment in advanced equipment, our pre- and post-production services are equalled only by our marketing support services, print and online capabilities. The result is a unique combination of consultative services such as creative solutions and market research, print management, display services and productive power.

Today, quality and competitive pricing are taken as read. Print managers look instead towards added value and total solutions from a single source. That’s why we’re geared up for customers whose need for time-sensitive service extends beyond routine print processes to more complex logistical, fulfilment and distribution requirements.

As well as providing the best print production facilities within their specialist marketplace, each of our business units acts as a consultancy, an agency and a management company.

By focusing on customer service, rather than the traditional industry pre-occupation with production, and by working together as a united operation, St Ives Group offers total marketing services and marketing production solution second to none.

By providing exceptional levels of customer service and support, and by exceeding our customers’ expectations, we’re now recognised by many household names as the supplier of choice in a market of many choices.

group overview

Customer service acts as the heartbeat for all St Ives business units by providing a single point of contact through which clients can greatly simplify the process of specifying, buying and managing their complex print requirements.

Our goal is to provide our customers with all the guidance and advice they need to make informed procurement and marketing decisions, whilst eliminating the unnecessary time and expense of dealing with multiple suppliers.

The size, scale and financial stability of the Group, coupled with our commitment to first-class service, means we are able to offer our customers a total print management and fulfilment capability unequalled elsewhere in the industry.

cross-fertilisation

Many of our customers think of us as a marketing service facility and access all our capabilities as one business taking advantage of the breadth of services we offer as a unified group. We have arguably the best people, the best equipment and the best products in the marketplace. Whatever your particular need - be it market research, consultancy on process and production for POS, direct mail, magazines, books or multimedia - we have the perfect solution.

management systems

At the outset of any new relationship with a customer, we put in place a fully documented service level agreement containing detailed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), tailored specifically to their individual business requirements. We also go to great lengths to adopt only the highest standard of processes and control systems throughout every project we manage on our clients’ behalf. This commitment to excellence is why we are successfully implementing ISO 14001 accreditations in our business units to further develop our quality management systems.

Our dedication to providing the highest standard of service means we're not always the cheapest - but we aim to offer the best value for money. That being said, by continually monitoring and improving our performance, we proactively improve service and workflow for our customers year-on-year. By gathering quality management data, we also ensure that we are armed with the accurate information needed to help customers make informed decisions on how to maximise value from their print budgets.

corporate social responsibility

In consultation with our suppliers, customers and employees, we have implemented an environmental policy aimed at reducing our emissions of volatile organic compounds, noise and dust; minimising and recycling of waste products; recycling of water; and securing reductions in energy consumption.

As well as signing up to the Carbon Trust’s Carbon Management programme to maximise energy efficiency and reduce our carbon footprint, we are also working towards FSC Chain of Custody certification across all our sites where paper or board are the principal substrates used. Each of our business units are ISO14001 certified.
